About the Digital Finance Awards Belgium

Organised by Fintech Belgium, the Digital Finance Awards bring together the Belgian digital finance community to celebrate innovation, leadership, and real impact across the ecosystem. The 2026 edition spanned categories including Best FinTech Startup, Best WealthTech Company, Best PayTech Company, Best Use of AI in Finance, and Best RegTech Company of the Year.

The gala took place on the evening of 23 June 2026 in Ghent, at Fabrik on the Dendermondsesteenweg. Taking home the RegTech award places Harmoney at the front of a competitive field of providers active in the Belgian market, and we are honoured to have been chosen.

What this recognition reflects

For our team, this award is a proud milestone. It reflects the work we have put into a problem compliance teams know all too well: KYC and AML that runs on email, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools, where every audit means reconstructing a file by hand, ownership structures are pieced together manually, and clients are only re-checked once a year whether anything has changed or not.

Our platform replaces that with a single, connected workflow, from onboarding and document collection to sanctions screening, UBO discovery, and continuous monitoring. Every decision is documented and timestamped, so the audit trail is a by-product of the work rather than a scramble after the fact.

Being recognised on home soil makes it especially meaningful. Belgium has a vibrant and demanding financial sector, and the institutions navigating it deserve compliance technology that is genuinely fit for purpose.
