About the Data News Awards for Excellence
Now in its 27th edition, the Data News Awards for Excellence is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious ICT events of the year in Belgium. Organised by Trends DataNews (a Roularta brand), the awards bring together the Belgian tech community to celebrate outstanding innovation, leadership, and impact across 15 categories.
The jury is composed of leading figures from Belgium's ICT and business landscape, including representatives from Agoria, StartUps.be, CIONET Belgium, and BOSA. Nominees are evaluated on their real-world contribution to the industry, not just their size or profile.
The awards ceremony takes place on 21 May 2026 at Terminal 1 in Brussels.

The Most Promising Tech Scale-up category recognises established young technology companies showing significant market momentum. The jury evaluates nominees across five dimensions:
